This is Bob Munro and my father (Terry Snr) displaying the TAB 250 &
350 K4's.
The frames low weight and amazing handling ability has been creating
quite a stir .The Chassis was designed and raced in the early 70's and
now more and more riders are upgrading from the original K4 chassis
to one that can handle as well as the manx.

Many thanks to Bob Johnson and Andy Reynolds for the
photos and hope that this is another fantastic year of racing
with the TAB chassis.

My apologies for anyone who has had trouble with this page. I'm still
a novice in web design.(Terry jnr.) Prices may vary so call for an up to
date quote.
The Aintree Championship has been won three times in a row on a TAB
chassis. In 2004 Bob Munro and in 2005 and 2006 by Steve Ferguson
riding for Dave Gauthorpe.
Dave Gauthorpe has been clocking up some rather impressive wins with his
TAB Chassis.
Dave had two TAB chassis given to him over 7 years ago, in return for the
material cost and the chance for promotion. Dave has been enjoying many
wins and has put together a very good looking bike with a TAB fairing
(made by me,Terry jnr) and Alloy Fuel Tank.
Steve Ferguson has definately shown what the Gauthorpe TAB can do and
is a fantastic promoter with his riding skill.

Be warned: If it isn't made by TAB then it isn't a TAB chassis. Some will try
to copy but they will be looking for profit not quality. The TAB chassis is not
made with mild steel or inferior welding methods. Quality materials with the
right applications and engineering are the only way to guarantee a first class
chassis.

Please note: Only the TAB Chassis produced by T.A.Baker with a certificate
of authenticity and frame stamp has eligibility for the CRMC. Only a faithful
copy is eligible for the CRMC and has to be accepted as such by
T.A.Baker. There are some poor quality copies being sold and advertised
as TAB replicas. I must stress these are not replicas with TAB approval and
we can not accept any responibilty for a frame that has been copied for
profit and without approval.

It's a shame that someone has to profit from someone elses 40 years of
hard work and engineering experience. But the reputaion of the TAB is
something we have tried over many years to improve on with the feedback
and outstanding wins from the fantastic riders that have purchased from us.
A bad copy though can harm that reputation tremendously and we are the
ones who have to continue trading on that, whereas someone who trades
badly on our good name and reputaion can quite easily pack up and copy
some other poor hard working bloke.
